Gianenrico Bonacorsi is a comic book artist and illustrator working across comics, board games, and visual storytelling.
He works entirely in traditional media, primarily using pencil, ink, watercolor, and acrylics. And enjoys exploring a wide variety of genres, from mythology to sci-fi, horror to erotic, as well as action/adventure and superheroes.
Gianenrico began his career in the French comic market, collaborating with publisher Glénat, and has illustrated multiple volumes of the bestselling series La Sagesse des Mythes, including Dionysos, Sisyphe, Asclèpios, Roméo & Juliette, La Genèse, Carmen, L’Arche de Noé, and La Belle Endormie.
More recently, he has published work in the US market, collaborating with Todd McFarlane Productions and Image Comics as a cover and interior artist. His US credits include Violator Book 4, covers for the Knight vs Samurai series, and Spawn Universe titles such as Gunslinger Spawn, King Spawn, and Rat City.
In board games, Gianenrico has illustrated for the horror-themed MIR role-playing game and Te Deum, a medieval RPG produced by Open Sesame Games. He is also the artist behind the sci-fi series Wilson Nebula, published in France by Uppercut Editions, and contributes illustrations to Muthologia, a website dedicated to Greek mythology.
Gianenrico worked on the official Dream Theater graphic novel published by Z2 Comics, and in 2026 began new projects with Gungnir Books alongside Benjamin Raab and Deric A. Hughes. And another with Alien Books, written by Dan Abnett and Steve White.
